My 10-page sample edit is comprehensive—the same as you'll receive during the actual editing process for a full manuscript. 

For no charge, I'm also happy to assess your sample and give a quote with specifics on the type of editing recommended. However, an in-depth sample edit will give you a detailed example of what working with me will be like, line for line.

Technical Info

Pages are based on academic standards, which is 12-point font (often Times New Roman), double-spaced with 1" page margins. If your file is formatted differently, that's not a problem, I can reformat it and apply the edits to 10 pages. 

I work with Track Changes in Word and prefer a .doc or .docx file. (If you send something else, such as a Google Doc file, I can convert it to .doc or .docx, no problem.) I can also send a PDF version of the file back to you so you don't need Word to view the edits. However, I prefer not to edit a PDF file.
